The short version: we mail you a book.
We ask for exactly what the post office needs, we tell you when it ships, and we don’t sell your information to anybody. The rest of this page is the same thing in more words.
What we collect, and why
When you request the book we collect your name, mailing address, email address and phone number. We use them to mail you the book, to let you know it shipped, and to reach you if there is a problem with the delivery. We also record which ad or link brought you here (the “utm” values in the web address), so we know which ads are worth running.
The calculator
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The ages, balances and income you type in are never sent to us, never stored on a server, and are gone when you close the tab. We cannot see them, and there is nothing to delete.
How we may contact you
Requesting the book puts you on our list for occasional educational email about retirement taxes, and we may call or text the number you gave us about your book or the free review. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately, you can reply STOP to any text, and you can call 844-44-PANIC and ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Asking us to stop never affects your book.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with the vendors who make this work — the printer and mail house that ship the book, our email service, and the customer records system we use to keep track of who asked for what — and only so they can do that job.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses no advertising cookies of its own. If you arrive from an ad, that ad platform may set its own cookie before you get here, and we keep the campaign labels from the web address for the length of your visit so the right campaign gets the credit. You can clear or block cookies in your browser without breaking anything on this site.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning their own retirement. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
